School: W.D. Mohammed High Terry, as she is called by nearly every teammate and coach, is the epitome of hard work and dedication. Completed a very solid freshman campaign at Hofstra University, averaging 2.2 points per game and 1.7 rebounds per contest. As Aamira continues to pick her momnets to be aggressive we will all see an incredible player emerge. Aamira just has so much heart! Fearless! Recorded a career high 12 points versus Florida State. Was part of the remarkable ESPN story featuring WD Mohammed Girls Basketball team that went from 0-20 to the state's # 1 ranking in just 2 seasons, Terry is the glue that holds that team together. Terry averaged 12.7 ppg, 6.3 steals, 4.5 assists, and 3 rebs per contest as a sophomore and a stellar 15.3 points, 5.0 assists, 5.3 rebounds, and 5.0 steals for the Lady Caliphs that finished an astounding 24-3 this year with a Final 8 appearance in the state tournament. Extremely strong and quick, Terry has improved her shooting tremendously to go with an already ridiculously strong penetration game. Terry is an excellent student and a very coachable kid. Recruited by several Division I programs but chose Hofstra university. Terry become a state legend in 2006-2007, during her Senior campaign.
