Absolutely one of the most explosive scorers that B'Ball 101 has ever seen.Darryl confirmed what we knew all along, that he was a legitimate Division I prospect by signing with the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He has positioned himself to be a major factor in college at the point guard spot. Missed the 2007-2008 season due to back surgery. Worked extremely hard during the offseason to earn a starting position at the point guard spot. Look for BIG things from this kid as he regains the form that made him one of the best shooters in the country regardles of division. Majoring in Accounting. Great Leader on and off of the court. Can fill it up with daring drives to the basket that are often completed with dunks, floaters, or passes. Amazing work ethic, has put the time in to develop his game over the last 4 years. Quick on Quick! Led Harrison High School to its best record in years, averaging 20.5ppg, 4rpg, 3 steals. Very mature defender. NBA range on jumpshot. Shot an amazing 54% from the 3 point range as a junior and 45% as a senior. |
