Currently living her dream of playing professional ball, Kitta closed out a solid college career with NC State improbable run to the ACC championship game and an NCAA Tournament berth. The 3-year starter reached the "1,000 Point Club" during her senior campaign, finishing with 1,176 points and added an astonishing 537 rebounds from the guard position during her career, an average of 4.3 per game.  Ranks #3 on NC State's All-Time list in fhree throw percentage at 78.1 (Shot 85.9 percent in 2007-8). Exceptionally quick, Kitta was one of the most aggressive players that high school basketball has ever seen. Averaged 30 ppg, 9 rpg, 6 apg, and 5 spg, including 6 40+ point games. Set a school record with ten 3 pointers in one game. Scored over 2,000 points in her storied high school career. Led Mays to the 4A State Championship as a freshman, well as a 5A final 8 appearrance in her final season....Was selected First Team All-State by the Georgia Sports Writers.One of the most highly recruited guards in the country. Was a McDonald's All-American nominee. Chose North Carolina State over several major programs. Has the ability to establish herself as a legend over the next 2 years. Look for Kitta to be an All-ACC performer as she leads North Carolina State's attack from the point guard spot. Her commitment to training has set her apart from many of her competitors. Listens well and is extremely coachable.
