B'Ball 101 provides exciting and effective ways to improve an athlete's performance. Nowhere is that more apparent than in areas of strength training and conditioning. We tailor our programs to fit an individual's specific needs. These needs include but are not limited to: age, gender, body type and structure, and current fitness level. We consistently monitor progress and periodically change programs to keep training interesting and effective.
In our effort to support the student-athlete, we are assembling a team of qualified individuals to aid our students in all scholastic areas, including SAT/ACT preparation. In addition, we conduct life skill training (how to budget away from home while in college, how to meet and greet, how to balance a checkbook, how to answer questions during a media interview, etc.) that gives students at B'Ball 101 the edge!
No other area, outside of the mental approach to the game, can impact the performance of an athlete quite the way plyometrics can. Plyometrics (Latin for "measurable increase") or SLAQ (Speed, Leaping, Agility, and Quickness) increases the overall "explosive power" of athletes. B'Ball 101 extensive research in SLAQ Training keeps our clients ahead of the field.
B'Ball 101 offers the most innovative and cutting edge training on the market. Very few training systems can offer scientific explanations for execution of certain drills and moves. B'Ball 101 trainers can! We know (not believe) that once an individual can determine, for a fact, what causes a desired result, they can duplicate that result over and over again. |
